Sukta 5.87
स चक्रमे महतो निरुरुक्रमः समानस्मात्सदस एवयामरुत् । यदायुक्त त्मना स्वादधि ष्णुभिर्विष्पर्धसो विमहसो जिगाति शेवृधो नृभिः ॥
sá cakrame maható nír uru-krámaḥ samānásmā́t sádasa evayā́marut | yad ā́yukta tmanā́ svā́d ádhi ṣṇúbhir ví-spardhaso ví-mahaso jigā́ti śe-vṛ́dho nṛ́bhiḥ ||
Il s’est avancé hors de la grandeur, vaste en sa marche, depuis le siège commun, ô Maruts. Lorsqu’il attela (ses puissances) par sa propre nature, alors, par les courants impétueux, il vainc les forces rivales, il franchit les vastes résistances — lui qui accroît le bienfaisant pour les hommes.
