Sukta 5.32
त्वमुत्साँ ऋतुभिर्बद्बधानाँ अरंह ऊधः पर्वतस्य वज्रिन् । अहिं चिदुग्र प्रयुतं शयानं जघन्वाँ इन्द्र तविषीमधत्थाः ॥
tvám utsā́m̐ ṛtúbhir badbadhānā́m̐ áraṃha ū́dhaḥ párvatasya vajrin | áhīm̐ cid ugra práyutaṃ śáyānaṃ jaghánvān índra táviṣīm adhatthāḥ ||
Tu as délié les sources tenues captives par la loi des saisons; tu as relâché la mamelle gonflée de la montagne, ô Vajrin, porteur du vajra. Et même le Serpent, le farouche, étendu dans sa puissance amassée — l’ayant abattu, ô Indra, tu as établi ta force victorieuse.
