मा निन्दत य इमां मह्यं रातिं देवो ददौ मर्त्याय स्वधावान् । पाकाय गृत्सो अमृतो विचेता वैश्वानरो नृतमो यह्वो अग्निः ॥
mā́ nindata yá imā́ṃ máhyaṃ rātíṃ devó dadā́u mártyāya sva-dhā́vān | pā́kāya gṛ́tso amṛ́to ví-cetā vaiśvānaráḥ nṛ́-tamo yahvó agníḥ ||
Ne blâmez pas le Dieu qui m’a donné ce don — à un mortel portant sa propre loi de puissance (svadhā). Pour celui qui mûrit (pāka), Agni, Gṛtsa, l’Immortel clairvoyant, Vaiśvānara, le plus viril, l’ardent (yahvá), devient le chercheur inspiré qui connaît les voies de la conscience.
