Sukta 4.45
स्वध्वरासो मधुमन्तो अग्नय उस्रा जरन्ते प्रति वस्तोरश्विना । यन्निक्तहस्तस्तरणिर्विचक्षणः सोमं सुषाव मधुमन्तमद्रिभिः ॥
svadhvarā́so mádhumanto agnáya usrā́ jarante práti vástoḥ aśvínā | yán níkta-hastas taraṇír vi-cakṣaṇáḥ sómam suṣā́va mádhumantam ádri-bhiḥ ||
Ô Aśvins, à l’arrivée de l’Aurore, les feux bien ordonnés, riches de miel, s’éveillent et flambent vers le Jour. Alors la puissance prompte et clairvoyante, aux mains rendues habiles à l’œuvre, presse le Soma miellé avec les pierres de pressurage—distillant un nectar intérieur.
