Sukta 4.2
एता ते अग्न उचथानि वेधोऽवोचाम कवये ता जुषस्व । उच्छोचस्व कृणुहि वस्यसो नो महो रायः पुरुवार प्र यन्धि ॥
etā́ te agne ucáthāni védho’ vocāma kaváye tā́ juṣasva | úc chocasva kṛṇuhí vásyaso no mahó rāyáḥ puru-vā́ra prá yandhi ||
Ces paroles, ô Agni l’Ordonnateur, nous te les avons dites, à toi le Voyant ; accueille-les. Flamboie ; fais pour nous un bien plus grand. Envoie vers nous la grande plénitude de richesse, aux formes multiples, abondante en biens désirables.
