Sukta 3.14
द्रवतां त उषसा वाजयन्ती अग्ने वातस्य पथ्याभिरच्छ । यत्सीमञ्जन्ति पूर्व्यं हविर्भिरा वन्धुरेव तस्थतुर्दुरोणे ॥
dráv atāṃ ta uṣásā vājáyantī agne vā́tasya pathyā́bhir áccha | yát sīm añjánti pū́rvyaṃ havírbhir ā́ vandhúreva tasthatúr duroṇé ||
Que Uṣas, l’Aurore, et la Vājayantī qui donne l’élan se hâtent vers toi, ô Agni, par les voies de Vāyu, le souffle de vie. Lorsqu’elles t’oignent, toi l’Ancien, avec les offrandes, elles se tiennent dans la demeure comme des coursiers attelés au char.
