Sukta 2.16
प्र ते नावं न समने वचस्युवं ब्रह्मणा यामि सवनेषु दाधृषिः । कुविन्नो अस्य वचसो निबोधिषदिन्द्रमुत्सं न वसुनः सिचामहे ॥
prá te nā́vaṃ ná sámane vacasyúvaṃ bráhmaṇā yā́mi sávaneṣu dā́dhṛṣiḥ | kuvín no asyá vácaso nibódhiṣad índram utsáṃ ná vásunaḥ sicāmahe ||
Comme une barque vers la traversée, je vais à toi avec la parole qui cherche à être proférée, avec le brahman‑mantra, aux pressurages du Soma, ô le ferme. Qu’il prenne vraiment garde à cette parole qui est la nôtre ; versons Indra comme une source de richesses.
