Sukta 10.28
एवा हि मां तवसं जज्ञुरुग्रं कर्मन्कर्मन्वृषणमिन्द्र देवाः । वधीं वृत्रं वज्रेण मन्दसानोऽप व्रजं महिना दाशुषे वम् ॥
evā́ hí māṃ tavásaṃ jajñúr ugráṃ kárman-karman vṛ́ṣaṇam indra devā́ḥ | vadhī́ṃ vṛtráṃ vájreṇa mandasā́nó 'pá vrajáṃ mahinā́ dāśúṣe vam ||
Ainsi les dieux m’ont engendré, fort et terrible, taureau de puissance en chaque acte, ô Indra. J’ai abattu Vṛtra du Vajra, dans l’ivresse de l’élan; par ma grandeur j’ai ouvert l’enclos pour le Donateur (dāśuṣ).
