Sukta 1.73
त्वे अग्ने सुमतिं भिक्षमाणा दिवि श्रवो दधिरे यज्ञियासः । नक्ता च चक्रुरुषसा विरूपे कृष्णं च वर्णमरुणं च सं धुः ॥
tvé agne su-matíṃ bhíkṣamāṇā diví śrávo dadhire yajñíyāsaḥ | náktā ca cakrur uṣásā vírūpe kṛ́ṣṇaṃ ca várṇam aruṇáṃ ca sáṃ dhuḥ ||
En toi, ô Agni, demandant sumatí — la juste pensée — les sacrifiants (yajñiyāsaḥ) établissent au ciel leur véritable śravas, leur gloire. La Nuit et l’Aurore, toutes deux de formes dissemblables, ont ensemble disposé le noir et le rouge ardent — ténèbres et clarté, ordonnées tour à tour.
