Sukta 1.71
मनो न योऽध्वनः सद्य एत्येकः सत्रा सूरो वस्व ईशे । राजाना मित्रावरुणा सुपाणी गोषु प्रियममृतं रक्षमाणा ॥
manó na yó ’dhvánaḥ sadyá éty ékaḥ satrā́ sū́ro vásva īśe | rājānā mitrā́varuṇā supāṇī góṣu priyám amṛ́taṃ rákṣamāṇā ||
Celui qui, tel la pensée, s’élance aussitôt sur la voie — l’Unique, toujours présent —, tel le Soleil il règne sur les richesses. Les deux rois, Mitra et Varuṇa, aux bonnes mains, gardent parmi les vaches, les rayons, le trésor aimé, immortel.
