Sukta 8.71
अग्निरिषां सख्ये ददातु न ईशे यो वार्याणाम् । अग्निं तोके तनये शश्वदीमहे वसुं सन्तं तनूपाम् ॥
agnír iṣā́ṃ sakhyé dadātu na ī́śe yó vā́ryāṇām | agníṃ tókē tanáye śáśvad īmahe vásuṃ sántam tanūpā́m ||
Que Agni, en la camaradería de los impulsos inspirados, nos conceda el verdadero acrecentamiento — él, señor de las riquezas deseables. A Agni lo buscamos siempre en el hogar y en la descendencia: Tesoro perdurable, guardián del ser desde dentro.
