विदा देवा अघानामादित्यासो अपाकृतिम् । पक्षा वयो यथोपरि व्यस्मे शर्म यच्छतानेहसो व ऊतयः सुतयो व ऊतयः ॥
Transliteration
vidā́ devā́ aghā́nām ādityāso apā́kṛtim | pakṣā́ váyo yáthopári vy àsmé śárma yacchatānéhaso va ūtáyaḥ su-ūtáyaḥ va ūtáyaḥ ||
Translation
Sabiendo, oh dioses Ādityas, cómo apartar los daños, arrojad lejos el mal. Como las alas son para el ave para alzarse por encima, así extended para nosotros una paz que cobija. Oh infalibles, vuestras protecciones — vuestras buenas protecciones — son nuestro amparo.
