शग्धी न इन्द्र यत्त्वा रयिं यामि सुवीर्यम् । शग्धि वाजाय प्रथमं सिषासते शग्धि स्तोमाय पूर्व्य ॥

Transliteration

śagdhī na indra yát tvā rayíṃ yā́mi su-vī́ryam | śagdhí vājā́ya prathamáṃ sisāsate śagdhí stomā́ya pū́rvya ||

Translation

Sé capaz para nosotros, oh Indra: pues a ti me acerco por rayi, la plenitud que es su-vīrya, el vigor heroico. Sé capaz para la primera obtención del Vāja —fuerza y plenitud— para quienes se esfuerzan; sé capaz también para nuestro stoma antiguo, el himno de antaño.
