Sukta 8.23

Devata: Agni (as Angiras-tama, Hotṛ)

अच्छा नो अङ्गिरस्तमं यज्ञासो यन्तु संयतः । होता यो अस्ति विक्ष्वा यशस्तमः ॥

Sanskrit recitationRig Veda 8.23.10

ácchā no aṅgíras-tamaṃ yajñā́sō yantu saṃ-yátāḥ | hótā yó ásti vikṣv ā́ yaśás-tamaḥ ||

Que nuestros sacrificios, bien reunidos y conducidos en concordia, avancen hacia el más angirásico — hacia el fuego sacerdotal. Él es el Hotṛ entre los linajes, el más glorioso; que venga a nuestros muchos ámbitos de vida y los lleve al orden recto.
