Sukta 6.26
त्वां वाजी हवते वाजिनेयो महो वाजस्य गध्यस्य सातौ । त्वां वृत्रेष्विन्द्र सत्पतिं तरुत्रं त्वां चष्टे मुष्टिहा गोषु युध्यन् ॥
tvā́ṃ vājī́ havate vājineyó mahó vā́jasya gádhyasya sātáu | tvā́ṃ vṛtréṣv indra sát-patiṃ táru-traṃ tvā́ṃ caṣṭe muṣṭi-hā́ góṣu yúdhyān ||
A ti te invoca el buscador de fuerza, oh vencedor de la fuerza, para alcanzar la gran plenitud (vāja) firmemente asentada. En las batallas contra los Vṛtra, oh Indra, te contempla como el verdadero señor (satpati), el salvador que hace pasar al otro lado; se te ve como el que hiere con el puño, luchando por las vacas — por los rayos de la Luz.
