न्यक्रन्दयन्नुपयन्त एनममेहयन्वृषभं मध्य आजेः । तेन सूभर्वं शतवत्सहस्रं गवां मुद्गलः प्रधने जिगाय ॥

Transliteration

nyàkrandayann upayánta enam améhayan vṛṣabháṃ mádhya ājéḥ | téna sū́bharvaṃ śatávatsahásraṃ gávāṃ múdgalaḥ pradháne jigāya ||

Translation

Con gritos lo azuzaron al acercarse; hicieron que el toro, en medio del certamen, soltara su fuerza. Con ese poder, Mudgala ganó en la batalla decisiva una rica presa: vacas por cientos y por miles.
