Sukta 1.55
स इन्महानि समिथानि मज्मना कृणोति युध्म ओजसा जनेभ्यः । अधा चन श्रद्दधति त्विषीमत इन्द्राय वज्रं निघनिघ्नते वधम् ॥
sa ín mahā́ni samithā́ni majmánā kṛṇóti yudhmá ójasā jánebhyaḥ | ádhā caná śrád dadhati tviṣī́mate índrāya vájraṃ ni-gháni-ghnate vadhám ||
Él, en verdad, cumple las grandes batallas con su plenitud: el guerrero, con fuerza para los pueblos. Entonces ponen su fe en el resplandeciente; para Indra forjan el Vajra, golpeando y golpeando, dando forma a la potencia mortífera contra el obstáculo.
