रथो न यातः शिक्वभिः कृतो द्यामङ्गेभिररुषेभिरीयते । आदस्य ते कृष्णासो दक्षि सूरयः शूरस्येव त्वेषथादीषते वयः ॥
rátho ná yā́taḥ śíkva-bhiḥ kṛtó dyā́m áṅgebhir aruṣébhir īyate | ā́d asya te kṛṣṇā́so dhákṣi sū́rayaḥ śū́rasyeva tveṣáthād īṣate váyaḥ ||
Como un carro puesto en marcha por los sabios, él avanza hacia el cielo con sus miembros rojizos. Entonces, oh encendedor, los videntes —aún oscurecidos— anhelan tu fuerza alada, como los guerreros el ímpetu del ataque de un héroe.
