AVŚ 7.60 es un himno paustika para la entrada en la casa y la estabilización del hogar: instala en la morada la «bhadra» (prosperidad auspiciosa) y hace que la propia casa sea benévola con sus ocupantes. Aplaca las fuerzas de la carencia —hambre y sed— y convierte la casa en un contenedor seguro y acogedor de riqueza, fuerza y compañía armoniosa, sellado por la insistencia en «aquí mismo» (ihaiva) como el lugar del florecimiento.

रम्यं गृहम्। ऊर्जं॒ बिभ्र॑द् वसु॒वनिः॑ सुमे॒धा अघो॑रेण॒ चक्षु॑षा मि॒त्रिये॑ण । गृ॒हानैमि॑ सु॒मना॒ वन्द॑मानो॒ रम॑ध्वं॒ मा बि॑भीत॒ मत्
Una casa grata. Portando vigor, ganando riqueza, de buen entendimiento, con mirada benigna y amistosa: en las casas entro, de ánimo propicio, rindiendo veneración. Alegraos; no me temáis.

इ॒मे गृ॒हा म॑यो॒भुव॒ ऊर्ज॑स्वन्तः॒ पय॑स्वन्तः । पू॒र्णा वा॒मेन॒ तिष्ठ॑न्त॒स्ते नो॑ जानन्त्वाय॒तः
Estas casas, que engendran bienestar, ricas en fuerza sustentadora, ricas en leche, en pie y colmadas por el bien benévolo—que nos reconozcan cuando nos acercamos.

येषा॑म॒ध्येति॑ प्र॒वस॒न् येषु॑ सौमन॒सो ब॒हुः । गृ॒हानुप॑ ह्वयामहे॒ ते नो॑ जानन्त्वाय॒तः
Aquellas casas en las que el viajero aún prosigue su estudio sagrado, en las que abunda la buena voluntad—esas casas llamamos hacia aquí: que nos reconozcan cuando nos acercamos.

Invocadas aquí, ricas en bienes, amistosas, de dulce regocijo—sed sin hambre, sin sed, oh casas; no nos temáis.

उप॑हूता इ॒ह गाव॒ उप॑हूता अजा॒वयः॑ । अथो॒ अन्न॑स्य की॒लाल॒ उप॑हूतो गृ॒हेषु॑ नः
Invocadas aquí están las vacas; invocadas aquí las cabras y las ovejas. Y también el dulce licor del alimento (kīlāla) es invocado aquí, dentro de nuestras casas.

Aquí mismo, sí aquí, manteneos firmes; oh Manu, ven acá: haced prosperar todas las formas bellas. Con lo auspicioso por compañera buscaré mi término; estad cada vez más conmigo.
It is used to bless and stabilize a dwelling—especially at house-entry—so the home becomes pleasant, friendly, prosperous, and free from the conditions of scarcity (hunger and thirst).
In Atharvanic domestic ritual language, the dwelling is personified so it can be invited, pacified, and turned into an ally—one that protects occupants and supports abundance rather than resisting them.
