Este himno de un solo verso invoca a Sarasvatī mediante la vívida imagen de su «pecho» (stana), símbolo de un flujo inagotable, dulce y nutritivo, para que prosperen todos los tesoros deseables. Funciona como un encanto de prosperidad y nutrición: al alabarla como dadora de deleite, propicia a las súplicas, fácil de invocar y liberal en dones, el recitador busca la concesión inmediata de aumento, abundancia y bienes valiosos florecientes.
