AV 6.23 es un conjuro curativo conciso que convoca a las Aguas divinas como medicina siempre disponible—fluyendo de día y de noche—para limpiar, enfriar y restaurar. El agua no se trata aquí solo como sustancia, sino como poder ritualmente «entretejido», que afloja y expulsa de inmediato la aflicción; y concluye poniendo el rito bajo el sagrado impulso de Savitar, para que Aguas y Hierbas actúen benignamente en favor del bienestar.

अपां भैषज्यम्। स॒स्रुषी॒स्तद॒पसो॒ दिवा॒ नक्तं॑ च स॒स्रुषीः॑ । वरे॑ण्यक्रतुर॒हम॒पो दे॒वीरुप॑ ह्वये
El remedio de las Aguas: veloces fluyen esas aguas, veloces de día y veloces de noche. Yo, con propósito elegido, llamo aquí a las Aguas divinas.

ओता॒ आपः॑ कर्म॒ण्याऽमु॒ञ्चन्त्वि॒तः प्रणी॑तये । स॒द्यः कृ॑ण्व॒न्त्वेत॑वे
Entretejidas están las Aguas en el acto ritual: desde aquí que suelten (el mal) para conducirlo fuera; que al instante lo hagan marcharse.

दे॒वस्य॑ सवि॒तुः स॒वे कर्म॑ कृण्वन्तु॒ मानु॑षाः । शं नो॑ भवन्त्व॒प ओष॑धीः शि॒वाः
Bajo el impulso del dios Savitar, que los hombres realicen la obra; y que las Aguas y las Hierbas (oṣadhī) sean para nosotros bienestar: benignas y favorables.
