ये॒३ऽन्तरि॑क्षा॒ज्जुह्व॑ति जातवेदो व्य॒ध्वाया॑ दि॒शोऽभि॒दास॑न्त्य॒स्मान्। वा॒युमृ॒त्वा ते परा॑ञ्चो व्यथन्तां प्र॒त्यगे॑नान् प्रतिस॒रेण॑ हन्मि
yé ’ntárikṣāj juhváti jātávedo vyadhvā́yā diśó ’bhidā́santy asmā́n | vāyúm ṛtvā́ té parā́ñco vyathantāṃ pratyagé́nān pratisaréṇa hanmi
Whoso from the mid-air maketh offering, O Jātavedas,—the wandering regions assail us: taking Wind for the effective stay, let them, turned away, be shaken; with the returning counter-force, with the Pratisara, I smite them down.
Quien, desde el espacio intermedio (antarikṣa), hace la ofrenda, oh Jātavedas,—las regiones errantes nos asaltan. Tomando a Vāyu (el Viento) como apoyo eficaz, que ellos, vueltos lejos, se estremezcan; con la contrafuerza que retorna, con el Pratisara, los derribo.
