एज॑देजदजग्रभं॒ चक्षुः॑ प्रा॒णम॑जग्रभम्। अङ्गा॑न्यजग्रभं॒ सर्वा॑ रात्री॑णामतिशर्व॒रे
éjad-éjad ajagrabhaṃ cákṣuḥ prā́ṇam ajagrabham | áṅgāny ajagrabhaṃ sárvā rā́trīṇām áti-śarvare
Each stirring thing I have seized; the eye, the breath I have seized; the limbs I have seized, in every night—most dark and over-dark.
Todo lo que se agita lo he atado; el ojo y el aliento (prāṇa) los he atado. Todos los miembros los he atado — en cada noche, la más oscura y sobreoscura.
