Mantra 1

तुभ्यं हिन्वानो वसिष्ट गा अपोऽधुक्षन्त्सीमविभिरद्रिभिर्नरः । पिबेन्द्र स्वाहा प्रहुतं वषट्कृतं होत्रादा सोमं प्रथमो य ईशिषे ॥

For thee, O Indra, the inspired movements urge on; the luminous Rays (cows) and the Waters are milked out for thee by the powers of the ascent, by the pressing-stones, by the striving men. Drink, O Indra, the Soma offered with svāhā, poured forth and sealed by vaṣaṭ; from the Hotṛ’s word take the Soma—thou who first hast mastery and initiatory command.

Mantra 2

यज्ञैः सम्मिश्लाः पृषतीभिॠष्टिभिर्यामञ्छुभ्रासो अञ्जिषु प्रिया उत । आसद्या बर्हिर्भरतस्य सूनवः पोत्रादा सोमं पिबता दिवो नरः ॥

Blended with the sacrifices, bright in their journey, dear in their shining harness, armed with the spears of effective will—come and sit upon the sacred seat, O sons of Bharata. Drink the Soma from the Potṛ’s offering, O heroes of the luminous world.

Mantra 3

अमेव नः सुहवा आ हि गन्तन नि बर्हिषि सदतना रणिष्टन । अथा मन्दस्व जुजुषाणो अन्धसस्त्वष्टर्देवेभिर्जनिभिः सुमद्गणः ॥

Come to us here, as if at home, O easy-to-call powers; sit down upon the sacred seat and take delight. Then grow glad, accepting the pressed essence; O Tvaṣṭṛ, with the divine begettings, a company of good thought, shape in us the right form.

Mantra 4

आ वक्षि देवाँ इह विप्र यक्षि चोशन्होतर्नि षदा योनिषु त्रिषु । प्रति वीहि प्रस्थितं सोम्यं मधु पिबाग्नीध्रात्तव भागस्य तृप्णुहि ॥

Bring the gods here, O illumined seer; sacrifice, desiring, O Hotṛ, and sit down in the three wombs (the triple seat of manifestation). Receive what is set forth—the Soma’s honeyed delight; drink from the Āgnīdhra’s portion and be satisfied with thy share.

Mantra 5

एष स्य ते तन्वो नृम्णवर्धनः सह ओजः प्रदिवि बाह्वोर्हितः । तुभ्यं सुतो मघवन्तुभ्यमाभृतस्त्वमस्य ब्राह्मणादा तृपत्पिब ॥

This is for thee, O Indra, an increaser of thy embodied might—strength and force laid in thy arms in the highest heaven. For thee it is pressed, O bountiful one; for thee it is brought: drink to fullness from this brahman (the inspired utterance), and be satisfied.

जुषेथां यज्ञं बोधतं हवस्य मे सत्तो होता निविदः पूर्व्या अनु । अच्छा राजाना नम एत्यावृतं प्रशास्त्रादा पिबतं सोम्यं मधु ॥

Take delight in the sacrifice; awaken to my call. Seated, the Hotṛ follows the ancient summons. To you two Kings, the homage comes, having turned toward you; from the Praśāstṛ’s word drink the Soma’s honeyed delight.
