तपः कृत्वा चिरं कालं पालयाम्यखलं जगत् । एवमुद्दिश्य पञ्चाग्निं साधयामास भामिनी ॥

দীর্ঘকাল তপস্যা করে তিনি সংকল্প করলেন—“আমি সমগ্র জগতকে পালন করব।” এই উদ্দেশ্যে সেই তেজস্বিনী পঞ্চাগ্নি-সাধনা গ্রহণ করলেন।
