महागृहॊदयम् नाम जम्बूद्वीपस्य भूषणम् ॥ तस्मिन् पुरवरे दिव्ये ब्राह्मणो वसते शुभे

‘মহাগৃহোদয়’ নামে এক নগরী আছে, যা জম্বুদ্বীপের ভূষণ বলে খ্যাত। সেই দিব্য ও শুভ শ্রেষ্ঠ নগরে এক ব্রাহ্মণ বাস করেন।
