Sukta 9.89
राजा सिन्धूनामवसिष्ट वास ऋतस्य नावमारुहद्रजिष्ठाम् । अप्सु द्रप्सो वावृधे श्येनजूतो दुह ईं पिता दुह ईं पितुर्जाम् ॥
rājā́ síndhūnām avasiṣṭa vā́sa ṛtásya nā́vam ā́ruhad rájiṣṭhām | apsú drapsó vāvṛdhe śyená-jūto dúha īm pitā́ dúha īm pitúr jām ||
হে বসিষ্ঠ! নদীগুলির রাজা তিনি তাঁর বস্ত্র ধারণ করেছেন; তিনি ঋত-এর সর্বাধিক দ্রুত নৌকায় আরূঢ় হয়েছেন। অপ্সু (জলে) সেই বিন্দু বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে—শ্যেন-প্রেরিত; পিতা তাঁকে দোহন করেন, আর তিনি পিতার জাতি/আত্মীয়তা দোহন করে প্রকাশ করেন।
