Sukta 9.79
एवा त इन्दो सुभ्वं सुपेशसं रसं तुञ्जन्ति प्रथमा अभिश्रियः । निदंनिदं पवमान नि तारिष आविस्ते शुष्मो भवतु प्रियो मदः ॥
evā́ ta indo subhvā́ṃ su-péśasaṃ rásaṃ tuñjanti prathamā́ abhi-śríyaḥ | nídaṃ-nidaṃ pavamāna ní tāriṣa āvís te śúṣmo bhavatu priyó mádaḥ ||
এভাবেই, হে ইন্দু, প্রথম অভিশ্রিয়ঃ (প্রথম দীপ্ত শক্তিসমূহ) তোমার রস নিংড়ে আনে—কল্যাণময়, সুগঠিত, সুন্দররূপ। হে পবমান, স্তর থেকে স্তরে (নিদংনিদং) আমাদের পার করিয়ে দাও; তোমার শুষ্ম (বল) প্রকাশিত হোক, আর তোমার প্রিয় মদ (আনন্দ-উন্মাদ) আমাদের মধ্যে উপস্থিত থাকুক।
