Sukta 4.38
उत स्मास्य पनयन्ति जना जूतिं कृष्टिप्रो अभिभूतिमाशोः । उतैनमाहुः समिथे वियन्तः परा दधिक्रा असरत्सहस्रैः ॥
utá smā́sya panayanti jánā jūtíṃ kṛṣṭipró abhíbhūtim āśóḥ | utáinaṃ āhuḥ samíthe víyantaḥ parā́ dadhikrā́ ásarat sahásraiḥ ||
আর জনতা তার জূত (দ্রুত ধাবন), সেই আশু (দ্রুত) বীরের অভিভূতি-বিজয়—যা জনসমুদায়কে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যায়—তার গৌরবগান করে। আর সমরে বিচরণ করতে করতে তারা তার সম্বন্ধে বলে—‘দধিক্রা সহস্রেরও পর ছুটে গেছে।’
