Sukta 10.34
न मा मिमेथ न जिहीळ एषा शिवा सखिभ्य उत मह्यमासीत् । अक्षस्याहमेकपरस्य हेतोरनुव्रतामप जायामरोधम् ॥
ná mā mimetha ná jihīḷa eṣā́ śivā́ sakhíbhyá utá máhyam āsīt | akṣasyā́hám éka-parasya hétor ánu-vratām ápa jāyā́m arodham ||
সে আমাকে করুণা করল না, থামলও না—যে একদা আমার বন্ধুদের জন্য, এমনকি আমার জন্যও, কল্যাণময়ী ছিল। অক্ষ (পাশা)-এর কারণে—সেই একমাত্র প্রভুর হেতু—আমি ধর্মব্রত-অনুগত আমার বিশ্বস্ত স্ত্রীকে দূরে ঠেলে দিলাম।
