स नो नृणां नृतमो रिशादा अग्निर्गिरोऽवसा वेतु धीतिम् । तना च ये मघवानः शविष्ठा वाजप्रसूता इषयन्त मन्म ॥

sá no nṛṇā́ṃ nṛtámo riśā́dā agnír gíro ’vá sā vetu dhī́tim | tánā ca yé maghávānaḥ śáviṣṭhā vā́ja prasūtā iṣáyanta mánma ||

সেই অগ্নি—মানুষদের মধ্যে সর্বাধিক পুরুষোচিত, ক্ষতিকরদের সংহারক—নিজ সহায়সহ আমাদের কাছে আসুন এবং আমাদের ধী (প্রেরিত বাণী) সিদ্ধিতে পৌঁছে দিন। আর সেই মহাবান, অতিশয় বলবান শক্তিসমূহ, বাজ-প্রসূতা (বল-সমৃদ্ধি দ্বারা প্রেরিত) হয়ে, আমাদের মনকে অগ্রগতির দিকে চালিত করুক।
