अग्निं वः पूर्व्यं हुवे होतारं चर्षणीनाम् । तमया वाचा गृणे तमु वः स्तुषे ॥
Transliteration
agníṃ vaḥ pū́rvyaṃ huve hótāraṃ carṣaṇīnā́m | tám ayā́ vācā́ gṛṇe tám u vaḥ stuṣe ||
Translation
Vì các ngươi, ta kêu gọi Agni thuở xưa—vị tế quan của muôn dân (hotṛ). Bằng lời nói được linh hứng này, ta xướng ca Ngài; và quả thật, vì các ngươi, ta tán dương Ngài—để vị tế quan nội tại được an tọa và dẫn dắt lễ tế của linh hồn.
