Sukta 6.40
समिद्धे अग्नौ सुत इन्द्र सोम आ त्वा वहन्तु हरयो वहिष्ठाः । त्वायता मनसा जोहवीमीन्द्रा याहि सुविताय महे नः ॥
sámiddhe agnáu sutá índra sóma ā́ tvā vahantu háryo váhiṣṭhāḥ | tvāyatā mánasā johavī́mī́ndra ā́ yāhi suvitā́ya mahé naḥ ||
Khi Agni được nhóm lên và Soma được ép, hỡi Indra, nguyện những tuấn mã sắc nâu, bậc tối thiện trong việc chuyên chở, đưa Ngài đến đây. Với tâm trí hoàn toàn hướng về Ngài, ta khẩn cầu: Indra, xin hãy đến vì con đường lành lớn lao và bước tiến chiến thắng của chúng ta.
