द्युभिर्हितं मित्रमिव प्रयोगं प्रत्नमृत्विजमध्वरस्य जारम् । बाहुभ्यामग्निमायवोऽजनन्त विक्षु होतारं न्यसादयन्त ॥

Transliteration

dyúbhir hitáṃ mitrám iva práyogaṃ pratnám ṛtvíjam adhvarásya jārám | bāhúbhyām agním ā́yavo 'jananta víkṣu hótāraṃ ny àsādayanta ||

Translation

Ngài được đặt giữa những ánh sáng của trời, như Mitra—người Bạn—ở nơi tiến bước; vị tế quan xưa (ṛtvij) của nghi lễ (adhvara), người được tế tự yêu mến—Agni. Dòng Āyava đã dùng đôi tay sinh ra Ngài và đặt vị Hotṛ ngự giữa các thị tộc.
