Kāṇḍa 10 là quyển mang tính suy tư và vũ trụ luận hiển lộ nhất của Atharvaveda, chuyển từ các nghi thức bảo hộ–hội nhập sang cuộc truy vấn bền bỉ về nền tảng của trật tự trong con người, cộng đồng–chính thể và vũ trụ. Các thánh ca khảo sát Skambha (Trụ vũ trụ) và Prajāpati như những nguyên lý tổ chức, đồng thời thần học về ucchiṣṭa (phần dư đã được hiến thánh) tái định nghĩa “đồ thừa” như một năng lực sinh thành, có sức duy trì thế giới.
