मतिमद्भ्यो नराः श्रेष्ठास्तेभ्य श्रेष्ठास्तु वाडवाः । विप्रेभ्योऽपि च विद्वांसो विद्वद्भ्यः कृतबुद्धयः
matimadbhyo narāḥ śreṣṭhāstebhya śreṣṭhāstu vāḍavāḥ | viprebhyo'pi ca vidvāṃso vidvadbhyaḥ kṛtabuddhayaḥ
ဉာဏ်ရှိသူများထက် သာလွန်သည်မှာ ယဉ်ကျေးသိက္ခာရှိသော လူသားတို့ဖြစ်၏။ ထိုသူတို့ထက်လည်း vāḍava တို့က ပိုမိုမြင့်၏။ ဗြာဟ္မဏတို့ထက်တောင် တကယ့်ပညာရှိတို့က မြင့်၏။ ပညာရှိတို့ထက်လည်း နားလည်မှုကို ပြည့်စုံစွာ သင်ကြားထိန်းသိမ်းထားသော ကృతဗုဒ္ဓိ တို့က အမြင့်ဆုံးဖြစ်၏။
