Daśaratha Resolves on the Aśvamedha (Horse-Sacrifice) for Progeny
चिन्तयानस्य तस्यैवं बुद्धिरासीन्महात्मन: ।सुतार्थं हयमेधेन किमर्थं न यजाम्यहम्।।।।
cintayānasya tasyaivaṁ buddhir āsīn mahātmanaḥ |
sutārthaṁ hayamedhena kimarthaṁ na yajāmy aham ||
នៅពេលព្រះមហាក្សត្រដ៏មានចិត្តធំបានគិតពិចារណាដូច្នោះ ក៏មានសេចក្តីសម្រេចកើតឡើងក្នុងព្រះហឫទ័យថា៖ «ដើម្បីទទួលបានបុត្រ ហេតុអ្វីខ្ញុំមិនធ្វើយជ្ញអស្វមេធទេ?»
