Dengan demikian, vrata yang sangat berat bila dijalankan akan menghancurkan dosa, wahai Bumi. Dan pada hari Trayodaśī, makan hanya pada malam hari disebut Dharma-vrata.

It reflects a common Purāṇic mode of transmitting vrata-vidhi (vow procedures) where ethical purification (pāpa-kṣaya) is linked to calendrical observances (tithi-based practices), aligning with broader Dharmaśāstra and ritual culture in early medieval Sanskrit literature.
No specific geographic site is named in this verse; the address is to Pṛthivī (Earth) as an interlocutor rather than to a pilgrimage location.
The verse frames disciplined observance—specifically the Trayodaśī practice of nakta (eating only at night)—as a dharma-oriented vow, presented as a means of reducing ethical demerit (pāpa) through regulated conduct.
