The Glory and Procedure of the Grain-Cow (Dhānyadhenu) Donation
तदिदानीं प्रवक्ष्यामि धान्यधेनुविधिं परम् । दशधेनुप्रदानेन यत्फलं राजसत्तम ॥ तत्सर्वमेव प्राप्नोति व्रीहिधेनुप्रदानतः ॥
tad idānīṃ pravakṣyāmi dhānya-dhenu-vidhiṃ param | daśa-dhenu-pradānena yat-phalaṃ rāja-sattama || tat sarvam eva prāpnoti vrīhi-dhenu-pradānataḥ ||
Kini akan kujelaskan tata cara tertinggi persembahan ‘dhānya-dhenu’ (sapi dari biji-bijian). Wahai raja termulia, pahala yang diperoleh dari memberi sepuluh ekor sapi—semuanya itu dicapai dengan mempersembahkan sapi yang dibentuk dari beras/hasil panen.
