Mandukya Upanishad: Verse 2

सर्वं ह्येतद् ब्रह्मायमात्मा ब्रह्म सोऽयमात्मा चतुष्पात् ॥२॥

IAST Transliteration

sarvaṃ hy etad brahma ayam ātmā brahma so ’yam ātmā catuṣpāt ||2||

Translation

Sesungguhnya semua ini adalah Brahman. Ātman (Diri) ini adalah Brahman. Ātman yang sama ini memiliki empat pāda (empat bagian/kuartal).

Academic Translation

For all this indeed is Brahman. This Self is Brahman. This very Self has four quarters (four ‘feet’).
