Sukta 8.62
अहितेन चिदर्वता जीरदानुः सिषासति । प्रवाच्यमिन्द्र तत्तव वीर्याणि करिष्यतो भद्रा इन्द्रस्य रातयः ॥
ahiténa cid árvātā jīrá-dānuḥ siṣāsati | pravā́cyam indra tát tava vīryā̀ṇi kariṣyató bhadrā́ índrasya rātáyaḥ ||
Bahkan dengan kuda yang tak bersahabat pun, sang pemberi yang cepat berusaha meraih kemenangan. Wahai Indra, itulah yang patut dimaklumkan: daya-daya kepahlawananmu bagi sang pelaku yang hendak menuntaskan. Berkah adanya anugerah-anugerah Indra.
