Sukta 8.60
पाहि नो अग्न एकया पाह्युत द्वितीयया । पाहि गीर्भिस्तिसृभिरूर्जां पते पाहि चतसृभिर्वसो ॥
pā́hi no agne ékayā pā́hy utá dvitī́yayā | pā́hi gī́rbhis tisṛ́bhir ūrjā́m pate pā́hi catasṛ́bhir vaso íti ||
Lindungilah kami, wahai Agni, dengan satu daya; lindungilah pula dengan yang kedua. Lindungilah dengan tiga gīr (ucapan suci), wahai penguasa ūर्जा (ūrjā, kelimpahan daya-hidup); lindungilah dengan yang empat, wahai Vasu (Yang Kaya).
