उत नो ब्रह्मन्नविष उक्थेषु देवहूतमः । शं नः शोचा मरुद्वृधोऽग्ने सहस्रसातमः ॥

Transliteration

utá no bráhman aviṣa uktheṣú deva-hūtámaḥ | śáṃ naḥ śocā marúd-vṛdho ’gne sahasra-sā́tamaḥ ||

Translation

Dan lindungilah bagi kami sabda-mantra kami, wahai Agni, yang paling perkasa dalam memanggil para dewa di dalam kidung-kidung kami. Bersinarlah demi kedamaian kami; wahai penumbuh Marut, wahai peraih seribu keuntungan, luaskanlah di dalam diri kami nyala yang menang.
