Sukta 1.59
बृहती इव सूनवे रोदसी गिरो होता मनुष्यो न दक्षः । स्वर्वते सत्यशुष्माय पूर्वीर्वैश्वानराय नृतमाय यह्वीः ॥
bṛhatī́ iva sūnáve ródasī gíro hótā manuṣyò na dákṣaḥ | svàr-vate satyá-śuṣmāya pū́rvīr vaiśvānaráya nṛ́-tamāya yahvī́ḥ ||
Bagaikan Dua Dunia yang luas bagi putranya, demikianlah kidung-kidung mengalir—Agni sang Hotar, terampil laksana manusia yang sempurna kecakapannya. Bagi penguasa alam bercahaya, bagi dia yang berdaya sejati, ujaran-ujaran purba nan perkasa bergelora menuju Vaiśvānara, pemimpin paling jantan di antara para pemimpin.
