idáṃ devā́ḥ śṛṇuta yé yajñíyā́ stha bharádvājo máhy amúktʰā́ni śaṃsati | pāśé sá baddhó durité ní yujyatāṃ yó asmā́kaṃ mána idáṃ hinásti ||
Hear this, O Gods, ye who are meet for sacrifice: Bharadvāja for my behoof proclaimeth solemn praises. In the noose—bound—let him be fastened down in evil plight, whoso assaileth this our mind.
Rishi: Bharadvāja (as named within the mantra; traditional assignment aligns the utterance with Bharadvāja-line authority)
Devata: Viśve Devāḥ / yajñiyā devāḥ (the sacrificial gods as collective hearers and enforcers)
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (probable; requires metrical verification against pada-count in a critical accent-text)
Primary: raudra
Secondary: vira
