Prashna Upanishad 6: Verse 6
अथादित्य उदयन्यत्प्राचीं दिशं प्रविशति तेन प्राच्यान् प्राणान् रश्मिषु सन्निधत्ते । यद्दक्षिणां यत् प्रतीचीं यदुदीचीं यदधो यदूर्ध्वं यदन्तरा दिशो यत् सर्वं प्रकाशयति तेन सर्वान् प्राणान् रश्मिषु सन्निधत्ते ॥६॥
अथ । आदित्यः । उदयन् । यत् । प्राचीम् । दिशम् । प्रविशति । तेन । प्राच्यान् । प्राणान् । रश्मिषु । सन्निधत्ते । यत् । दक्षिणाम् । यत् । प्रतीचीम् । यत् । उदीचीम् । यत् । अधः । यत् । ऊर्ध्वम् । यत् । अन्तरा । दिशः । यत् । सर्वम् । प्रकाशयति । तेन । सर्वान् । प्राणान् । रश्मिषु । सन्निधत्ते ॥
atha āditya udayan yat prācīṃ diśaṃ praviśati tena prācyān prāṇān raśmiṣu sannidhatte | yat dakṣiṇāṃ yat pratīcīṃ yat udīcīṃ yat adhaḥ yat ūrdhvaṃ yat antarā diśo yat sarvaṃ prakāśayati tena sarvān prāṇān raśmiṣu sannidhatte ||6||
जब सूरज उठता है और पूरब की तरफ जाता है, तो वो पूरब की तरफ के सारे प्राण अपनी किरण में ले आता है। चाहे वो दक्षिण हो, पश्चिम हो, उत्तर हो, नीचे हो, ऊपर हो, या बीच की कोई भी दिशा हो, जहाँ भी वो रोशनी डालता है, वहाँ के सारे प्राण अपनी किरण में ले आता है।
Now, when the sun, rising, enters the eastern direction, by that it places the eastern pranas into its rays. Whatever [direction it enters]—the southern, the western, the northern, below, above, and the intermediate directions—whatever it illuminates entirely, by that it places all pranas into its rays.
