इन्द्र क्रतुविदं सुतं सोमं हर्य पुरुष्टुत । पिबा वृषस्व तातृपिम्
Indra, knower of resolve, drink the pressed Soma—O Tawny One, much praised; drink, and wax in might unto full satisfaction.

O hymn-delighting (Indra), protect us: thou art bedewed with streams of the pressed sweet (draught). Indra, the glory is verily a gift from thee.

From the nearer quarter come thou hither unto us, and from the far, O Vṛtra-slayer: accept with favour these our uttered strains.
