एतच्छ्रुत्वा वचस्तस्य समुद्रस्य तु भीषणम् । कृतं तदक्षयं तोयमा त्मनो भयनाशनम्

Transliteration

etacchrutvā vacastasya samudrasya tu bhīṣaṇam | kṛtaṃ tadakṣayaṃ toyamā tmano bhayanāśanam

Translation

Als Er die furchterregenden Worte des Ozeans vernahm, machte Er das Wasser unerschöpflich und nahm so die Angst, die sein eigenes Dasein bedrohte.
