Transliteration

anupoṣya trirātrāṇi tīrthānyanabhigamya ca | adattvā kāṃcanaṃ gāśca daridronāma jāyate

Translation

Wer kein dreinächtiges Fasten hält, die heiligen Tīrthas nicht aufsucht und weder Gold noch Kühe als Dāna gibt, wird «arm» genannt—beraubt heilsamen Verdienstes.
