देवा ऊचुः । भोभो विप्र त्वया नूनं सर्वे संतर्पिता वयम् । मानसेन तु यज्ञेन तस्माद्ब्रूहि मनोगतम्
devā ūcuḥ | bhobho vipra tvayā nūnaṃ sarve saṃtarpitā vayam | mānasena tu yajñena tasmādbrūhi manogatam
Die Götter sprachen: „O Brāhmaṇa, durch dein im Geist vollzogenes Opfer sind wir alle wahrlich gesättigt. Darum sprich aus, welcher Wunsch in deinem Innern wohnt.“
